Mosedia is the result of years of collaboration involving Indonesia’s Ministry of Cooperatives & SMEs, Ministry of Environment & Forestry, West Manggarai Regency Administration, BambooCoop, and Environmental Bamboo Foundation.

It strives to be the engine for East Nusa Tenggara’s shift toward a bamboo-based circular and restorative economy. It will also serve as the national model on how to integrate environmental endeavor with rural economy empowerment.

Through its massive bamboo-focused program in rural East Nusa Tenggara, including the one funded by Indonesia’s FOLU Net Sink scheme, Environmental Bamboo Foundation strives to ensure that the local communities seedling & planting bamboo, managing & harvesting bamboo forests, and utilizing bamboo in a responsible, sustainable way.
